Total Trash is a high-output preamp distortion based on the traditionally abused preamp section of the Realistic Electronic Reverb – a piece of forgotten studio gear that people accidentally turned into a fuzz by pushing the input far past where it was comfortable.

This pedal isolates that preamp circuit and adds and output level control for maximum volume.

The result is raw, aggressive, and unapologetic: thick low end, jagged mids, and a collapsing edge that feels more like a broken console channel than a traditional fuzz.

There’s no tone control – just gain (MIC) and output (LVL).

Controls
• MIC – preamp gain. From dirty boost to full collapse.
• LVL – output level. Capable of hitting an amp very hard.

What it is
• A clone of the classic abused Realistic Electronic Reverb preamp circuit
• Loud, blunt, and intentionally limited
• Designed for guitar, bass, synths, and anything that can overload an input

What it isn’t
• A polite fuzz
• A clean boost
• A modern, “fixed” interpretation

Total Trash is about impact and unique tones. If you want something controlled, this is not it.
